Global Enterprise
Run the Business. Finance the Strategy. Create the Value.
Global Enterprise is ACF’s corporate finance and business management simulation for Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, finance and broader business programs.
Participants take responsibility for a competing company and make interconnected strategic, operational and financial decisions over a series of periods.
They must decide how the business should grow, how it should operate, how that growth should be financed and how their decisions affect cash flow, profitability, risk and ultimately the value of the company.

Manage the Whole Enterprise
Global Enterprise brings the principal functions of a company into one integrated simulation.
Participants can take responsibility for areas including:

Decisions made in one part of the company affect the others.
A decision to expand production, for example, has implications for capital expenditure, staffing, working capital, financing and cash flow. A pricing decision affects demand, revenues, capacity utilisation and profitability.
The challenge is to manage the business as a whole rather than optimise one function in isolation.

Value Is Created – or Destroyed – by Decisions
Global Enterprise includes a dynamic valuation model linking operating and financing decisions to enterprise and equity value.
Participants can examine how changes in revenues, margins, investment, financing and capital structure affect the value of the company over time.
Simulation data can also be made available for more detailed valuation work, allowing the exercise to connect directly with financial modelling and corporate finance training.
Compete in a Changing Market
Teams do not operate in isolation.
Their decisions affect their competitive position, and the decisions of other teams can influence market demand and sales.
Market conditions can also change as the simulation progresses, requiring participants to reconsider assumptions and adapt strategy.
This creates a dynamic environment in which decisions have consequences both inside the company and in the market in which it competes.

One Company. Different Responsibilities.
These might include:
CEO • CFO • COO • CMO • CHRO
Role-specific screens allow participants to make decisions within their areas of responsibility while seeing the consequences of decisions made elsewhere in the organisation.
That creates a realistic need for coordination. Finance cannot make its decisions independently of operations, and marketing cannot promise growth without considering production capacity and funding.
From Corporate Finance to Investment Banking
Global Enterprise can support programs across:
- Corporate Finance
- Investment Banking
- Financial Modelling
- Credit
- Strategy
- Business Acumen
- Finance for Non-Financial Managers
- Recruitment
- Early Careers
- Professional Development
For Investment Banking and Corporate Finance programs, participants can use the company information generated by the simulation for valuation, financing and advisory exercises.
For broader business programs, the focus can be on running the company and understanding how decisions across functions affect financial outcomes.

More Than a Business Game
Participants cannot make a strategic decision without considering its operational and financial consequences.
Global Enterprise is designed to reflect the interconnected reality of running and financing a company.
They must run the business, finance the strategy and create the value.
